Greenwood made it look easy against Pine Bluff on Friday night at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.
The Bulldogs, behind senior quarterback Connor Noland, rolled to 52-14 win that really wasn’t that close.

“I’m proud of our kids and our coaches,” Greenwood coach Rick Jones said later. “It was a total team effort. So consistent all year and our kids played great.”
Noland was one of the players who was holding the trophy high in the postgame celebration.
“He’s one of the hardest workers we have,” Jones said. “When one of your best players is also one of the hardest working that’s a great combination to have.”
The final score came when Noland found Peyton Holt open for a short touchdown pass to make it 52-14, which started the clock running without stopping late in the third quarter and they cruised from there.
It is the eighth state championship for the Bulldogs.
