AUBURN - It would appear that Gus Malzahn has not changed his mind since telling reporters in a press conference after the SEC Championship game that he intends on staying at Auburn.
Longtime beat reporter Brandon Marcello with Auburn Undercover wrote Sunday afternoon that after the overtures from Arkansas, Malzahn will agree to a deal that will likely give him a significant increase in pay, possibly matching the reported $7 Million that he was supposedly offered from the University of Arkansas.
Marcello says that the deal would keep him in place for at least five year.
