FORT SMITH - The Sebastian County Sheriff’s Department says that no charges have been filed in a shooting near Huntington that left a man hospitalized.
Deputies responded to the report of a suspected trespasser that had been shot along Echo Road Wednesday night. He was taken to an area hospital where he underwent surgery according to reports.
The case will be reviewed by the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney.
