A trio of three individuals who were using laptops and printers on a Sallisaw apartment to make counterfeit $20 bills were arrested after investigators traced the fake bills to a residence on South Cedar Street.

The Sallisaw Police Department had released grainy surveillance photos on Tuesday of two of the suspects who stand accused of passing hundreds of dollars in counterfeit 20’s.

Jacquelyn Armour, James Harden and Eugene Stich, were all arrested and officials say they are all facing second degree forgery charges. The three were also apparently using the fake bills to buy illegal drugs and also face drug charges after a search of the South Cedar Street Apartment.

Fake bills were passed at an area convenience store, Sonic restaurants and at a Sallisaw casino according to law enforcement.

All three suspects were booked into the Sequoyah County Detention Center pending an appearance before a judge.
