Sophomore guard Micayla Haynes had 17 points, while junior forward Sarah Elkins had 12 and junior guard London Williams had 10. Williams also had six of the Lady Lions’ 18 assists.
UAFS, which led 43-33 at halftime, shot a sizzling 52 percent from the field (34 of 66) – it was only 5-of-25 shooting from 3-point range – and shot 68 percent from the free-throw line (17 of 25).
