TULSA - The National Weather Service says warmer weather and a continued lack of rainfall will lead to an extreme fire danger this weekend.

“Warmer temperatures, low humidity, and gusty south to southwest winds, combined with ongoing dry conditions will lead to a very high fire danger Saturday.” the Tulsa forecast office said Friday morning. “Rain chances increase Saturday night, perhaps lingering into Sunday in parts of the area.”

Mild conditions and temperatures into the mid 60’s continue into Christmas weekend.
