Man wanted in robbery of his own grandmother

Fort Smith police are seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect in the home invasion, robbery and battery of his own grandmother on Monday.

Police say that 36-year-old Jeremy David Guillory forced his way into his grandmothers home, assaulted her and forced her to go to a local bank and withdraw money to give to him.

On Tuesday, felony warrants were issued on charges of robbery, residential burglary, false imprisonment and 2nd degree domestic battery. The bail amount on all charges will be $100,000, according to a press release from the Fort Smith Police Department.

Guillory is described as being a white male, 3 years of age, 5-feet-7, 150 pounds.

In addition to the charges stemming from the home invasion on Monday, Guillory has a long history with the court systems of western Arkansas.

Guillory has previously been arrested on 1st degree sexual abuse, 2nd degree sexual assault, 4th degree sexual assault, theft of property, felon on possession of a firearm, failure to pay fines and on various traffic violations.

He was last in the Sebastian County Adult Detention Center on June 30-July 2 as an Act 570 parolee.
