LITTLE ROCK - The Arkansas Department of Health has reported the first pediatric death related to the flu season in the state.
A report released Christmas Eve had limited information, but said the child was under the age of four. It was not specified what part of the state the child was living in at the time of death.
The pediatric death is the sixth flu-related death in Arkansas for the season.
