Frankie Louise Swiggum, 92, formerly of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017, in Fort Smith.
She was born Feb. 9, 1925, in Marshfield, Missouri, to the late Earl and Emma Atkinson.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Emma Lou Atkinson. Frankie was a wife, mother and grandmother extraordinaire. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas D. Swiggum, Jr.; one son, Gary Swiggum (Dorothy) of Mammoth Cave, Kentucky; a daughter, Lynda Taylor (Tim) of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Becky Hunt, Nikki Swiggum and Chris Taylor; seven great-grandchildren, Jessica Moldenhauer, Bethany McDonald, James Hunt, Hailey and Autumn Dewitt, and Maddox and Olivia Taylor: one great- great-grandchild, Kylie McDonald; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Friday June 2, 2017, at Evergreen Funeral Home in Louisville, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m.Friday, June 2, 2017, under the direction of Evergreen Funeral Home in Louisville, Kentucky, with entombment at Evergreen Cemetery.
