FORT SMITH- Police say that an incident is still under investigation on Rogers Ave that took place early this morning.
Around 5:50 AM, Police received a call reported a possible head injury/gunshot victim at the 3000 Block of Barry Ave.
Reports indicated that a possibly gunshot victim with a head injury.
“The male victim was responding and has been transported to a local hospital for treatment,” said the Fort Smith Police Department in a Facebook post.
Fort Smith Police report that address of the incident is believed to actually be the 4000 block of Rogers Ave., not the address referenced in the original call.
No further information is available at this time. This incident is still being investigated and we will provide updates as they become available.
