FORT SMITH - Investigators have identified the person who was shot and killed in a Fort Smith apartment on Thursday afternoon.
“The deceased person has been identified as 23-year-old Dylan Stancoff. Stancoff
was shot by 20-year-old Krissy Tran after he (Stancoff) forced his way into her apartment
looking for her husband, who was not home at the time.” Corporal Anthony Rice said in a release. “Mrs. Tran is not in custody at this time. Once this case is completed it will be turned over to the Sebastian County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for review.”
Officers responded to an apartment at 1612 South X Street around 2:30 PM on Thursday afternoon after the shooting was reported to 911.
