GREENWOOD - The Greenwood Police Department announced on Wednesday that their Cops, Kids, and Christmas shopping effort received a major shot in the arm. The Focus on Greenwood organization has presented the effort with a $2,000 check.
The Department reminds residents that applications may be picked up at the Greenwood Police Department. Eligible children should be between the ages of 5-15 & attend Greenwood Schools. All forms must be returned by December 11. If you have any questions, or would like to donate to this program, please call the office & speak with Kristin at (479)996-4119. Officers will meet the kids at our Greenwood Walmart & go shopping for Christmas gifts.
Focus on Greenwood, a civic organization dedicated to serving the needs of the community, meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays each month in the meeting room at Farmers Bank from noon to 1pm.
