DERMOTT - Southeast Arkansas authorities are looking for a man who escaped from a Dermott prison unit earlier today. According to radio station KVSA 1220 AM, 46 year old Robert Woodward of Hot Springs fled while participating in a work detail.
He is serving an 8 year sentence out of Pulaski County for fleeing. He is believed to be driving a white 2013 Ford F-250 pickup hauling a John Deere lawn tractor stolen from a gas station with license number 764 UZM.
Woodward is 6′ 1″ 226 lbs. and has a flag tattoo on the upper left arm. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police.
