SPRINGFIELD - Former Arkansas Head Coach Bobby Petrino is back in the Ozark Mountains, however he won’t be in Fayetteville.

Missouri State University announced earlier today that they will hold a press conference to introduce him as their new head coach Thursday morning.

Petrino coached the Razorbacks from 2008 to 2012, and was fired after a motorcycle accident when the fallout revealed his 25-year-old mistress was not only on the bike with him, but also on the University payroll.

Since then, he has been the head coach at the University of Louisville where he was fired before the end of the 2018 season. He was also the head coach at Western Kentucky University for one season.

Petrino made waves in Arkansas when he spoke earlier this year at the Little Rock Touchdown Club, and publicly apologized to Razorback fans for the way his tenure came to an end.
