If someone on your Christmas list asked for a Dixie Cafe gift card, you might want to see if they would be okay with something from Cracker Barrel.
KATV’s Marine Glisovic reported on Monday that the chain, which has gone hot and heavy in Southern states since the 1990’s would close for good after this week.

The restaurant had locations left mainly in Arkansas and Oklahoma. They opened a location in Fort Smith in 1994, but it closed several years back.
Other locations still standing but apparently closing their doors as of this week included Little Rock, Jonesboro, Conway, Hot Springs, Searcy, Benton, Russellville, Cabot, Paragould, and North Little Rock.
The chain also operated three locations in Oklahoma under the Delta Cafe banner.
