VAN BUREN - A 36-year-old Van Buren man will spend life in prison after pleading guilty to first-degree murder charges. Randall Jordan was sentenced Monday morning, just a day before his trial was to begin.
According to Prosecutor Mark McCune, Jordan entered the home of Larry Jones in the early morning hours of June 10, 2016, and struck Jones in the head multiple times with an ax handle.
Jones was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
