The Fort Smith District Court in Sebastian County issued a warrant for a 19-year-old Mansfield man on Thursday for a sexual assault on a minor that occurred May 1 of this year.
Deputies with the Sebastian County Sheriff Office said Kyle turned himself into authorities around 7 a.m. after he was informed that his warrant information was on Inside Fort Smith.
Kile. who was listed as a 29-year-old on the original SCSO warrant posting page, faces a $50,000 bond for the Class Y felony of d of rape involving sexual intercourse with a person less than 14 years of age.
A class Y felony in Arkansas is punishable by no less than 10 years and up to life in state prison.
