FORT SMITH - The 4th Annual Peacemaker Festival, presented by Cox, will
once again take place at the Riverfront Amphitheater along the banks of the Arkansas River
in Downtown Fort Smith, Arkansas on July 27th and 28th, 2018. This two-day festival will
include a diverse music lineup featuring acclaimed national artists.
Organizers say their continued mission is to educate the public and expand people’s
cultural knowledge by offering a wide variety of music genres, which includes rock, country
and Americana. Over the past three years, this annual event has brought thousands of
music lovers to downtown Fort Smith and this year’s lineup is sure to draw thousands more.
This year’s festival will feature Kacey Musgraves, Anderson East, The Cadillac Three, Paul
Thorn and Ray Wylie Hubbard. Additional artist to be announced in the coming weeks.
On Sunday, July 29th, the “Praise God and Pass the Biscuits!” tradition continues.
Beginning at 10:00am, area churches and community leaders will feed the hungry and the
hung over for free at the Downtown River Front Pavilion. This gospel style brunch will also
include live gospel choirs and inspirational speakers.
“This is our fourth festival and we’re really excited about the talent this year”, says Trent
Goins, Festival President. “Our all volunteer board has worked really hard to make this a
quality event for our city. I’m proud to be working with all of them.”
Tickets for this two-day festival go on sale online Friday, April 6th at 9:00am. Pricing levels
will be tiered. Early bird pricing for two-day festival tickets start at only $45. Early bird VIP
tickets start at $149 for a two day VIP pass.
The Peacemaker Festival is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to providing a
portion of its proceeds directly back to the community through local charities.
