Janett Laverne Jones, 80, of Mansfield, died April 24, 2017 in Heber Springs.
She was born May 23, 1936, in Fort Smith. She was the widow of Glen (Buddy) Jones. Janett was the former co-owner of Mountain Valley Products, was a member of Northside United Pentecostal Church, and she was a member of Goldwing Road Riders Association and the Christian Motorcycle Association. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gus and Ida Robertson.
Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2017, at Northside United Pentecostal Church at 3700 Kelly Hwy. in Fort Smith,, with burial at Barling Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, AR.
The family will visit with friends on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by one daughter, Sandi Hawkins and husband Larry of Quitman, AR; two sons, Glenn Jones Jr. and wife Rhonda of Greenwood, AR and Luther Jones and wife Donna of Bradford, AR; one sister, Ruth Dudley of Benton, AR; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Glenn “Buddy” Jones, Seth Hawkins, David Brewer, Chris Nalley, Wally Liles III, and Chad Pickett. Honorary pallbearers will be Rev. Ron Patrick and Al Moody.
