FORT SMITH - The Fort Smith Police Department has identified a man found dead in a local shopping center on Sunday morning. Employees of the SuperCuts hair salon at 2700 Zero Street discovered the body of 48-year-old Josh Underwood in their parking lot as they reported for work around 10:30 AM.
Department Spokesman Lt. Anthony Rice told reporters that Underwood had injuries to his face, but nothing external that would reveal an immediate cause of death.
Anyone with information in the case is asked to call the Department immediately.
