FORT SMITH - A man found guilty this week in the shooting death of an 18-year-old Fort Smith man is due in court today for sentencing.
30-year-old Ryan Saige Oxford was found guilty Wednesday of second-degree murder in the January death of Justin Lopez, who died when a barrage of bullets was sprayed into the camper trailer he was staying in.
Another man, 20-year-old Bryan Porras, was found guilty on murder charges in the case in November. According to court testimony, the act was carried out after Lopez allegedly disrespected the gang that both Porras and Oxford were members of.
The sentencing hearing begins at 10:00 AM.
