FORT SMITH - Your good health will be the focus of an upcoming event put on by the Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce. The First Friday Breakfast set for this February 1st will have several announcements related to the medical field.
According to a release, the Chamber will announce the winners of the Healthy Workplace Awards for the 2018 year. The guest speaker will be Dr. Joseph Thompson, President & CEO of Arkansas Center for Health and Improvement, will speak about the resources provided by Healthy Active Arkansas.
“From Healthy vending guidelines and support for returning moms to the workforce, to wellness policies and tracking systems, we have tools and resources to cultivate a culture of health at your worksite.” the Chamber said in an announcement.
Check-in starts at 7:30 AM in the UAFS Smith-Pendergraft Center (Reynolds Room).
