Two men believed to be suspects in an early-morning homicide Monday in Faulkner County were arrested near Alma on Monday.
The Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office had issued a “be on the look out” order for Rahzel Tennant, 18, and Phalon Tennant, 23, following a shots fired call around 3 a.m. at a residence at 721 Highway 365 in Mayflower where one victim was found with gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where that person, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead.
Investigators were able to track the suspect vehicle traveling westbound on Interstate 40.where Arkansas State Police troopers conducting a felony stop of a white Buick along Interstate 40. The “BOLO” had been issued with the warning that the suspects were armed and dangerous.
The two are thought to be brothers.
The incident is considered under active investigation according to law enforcement officials.
