Van Buren police are investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred Wednesday afternoon in the Flat Rock Addition, which is located just east of the Van Buren Industrial Park.
Police say that they feel a specific residence located on Ollie Drive was targeted at around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday Eleven rounds were fired in the incident, No one was injured.
Police said a red car, possibly a Camaro, may have been involved in the shooting are are asking citizens that may have been in that area around thee time off the incident to come forward with any possible information.
“If somebody was in this area of the Flat Rock neighborhood and happened to see a vehicle leaving at a high rate of speed, that’s information we need to know,” detective Jonathan wear told one media outlet.
