LEFLORE COUNTY - Local authorities say that a boy who fell into the waters below Kerr Lock and Dam is expected to be fine, even after undergoing a water rescue.
The boy was reported to have fallen from the rocks along the side of the Arkansas River, and was rescued by a water vessel from the Corps of Engineers that was patrolling nearby.
The extent of his injuries was not known by authorities who spoke to InsideFortSmith.Com on Thursday night.
