FORT SMITH - In an era where fake news is everywhere, the city of Fort Smith is asking residents to help push real information, and not false headlines.
“The Fort Smith Police Department received two calls about this, and we want to be perfectly clear, there is no lockdown. Please continue to exercise caution, good hygiene, and social distancing,” the City said on social media. “Check on your neighbors. Help each other out, and take extra care to not share information that hasn’t been properly vetted. Let’s keep taking care of each other and our community!”
