FAYETTEVILLE - In what many expect to be a SEC showdown, the Arkansas Razorbacks take on the Florida Gators in basketball at Bud Walton Arena tonight. The only problem is, the Razorback band is in Charlotte with the football team who is playing in the Belk Bowl today. So the University of Arkansas turned to another choice to provide the in-game entertainment - the Southside High School Maverick band.
According to their Facebook page, band members participating in the event have been practicing music to play during the game over the course of the week. The band also attended the Arkansas Razorback womens game Wednesday night at Bud Walton Arena.
