FORT SMITH - Several remodeling projects top the list of building permits issued by the City of Fort Smith during the last week.
JKC Cellars has filed to remodel a warehouse at 7709 Ellis Street into a winery. The project will be built at a cost of $75,000, under the direction of KRIJO Investments. The project was approved by the Fort Chaffee Redevelopment Authority in May 2017. Initial plans called for a retail shopping section, wine tasting area, and educational space for home winemakers. The land was purchased from the authority for $50,000.
Mercy Hospital’s Oncology Clinic has filed to remodel the interior of the building at 7301 Rogers Avenue at a cost of $650,000. Wear Construction Management will be the contractor of record on the project.
ABB (Baldor) has filed to remodel the interior of their office space at 5711 RS Boreham Road at a cost of $275,000. Hobbs Construction Company is the contractor of record.
