LITTLE ROCK – If you are one of the Razorback fans shouting, “Jeff Must Go”, the ball could start rolling this week. It is not necessarily on the agenda, but the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees is set to meet beginning tomorrow at Pulaski Technical College over a two day period.

Multiple sources have told InsideFortSmith.Com that unhappiness with fifth year Head Coach Bret Bielema, and Athletic Director Jeff Long has begun to spread among several of the trustees, who are expected to scheduled in executive session for “personnel issues”.

As executive sessions are closed to the public, descriptions of the personnel issues at hand were not listed in a recent agenda.

The trustees’ leadership include Chairman Ben Hyneman, Vice Chairman Mark Waldrip, Secretary Morril Harriman, and Assistant Secretary Kelly Eichler.

The board includes former U.S. Senator David Pryor, former oil and gas executive Sheffield Nelson, Texarkana attorney John Goodson, Pine Bluff physician Dr. Stephen Broughton, Monticello attorney Cliff Gibson, and former Kodak executive and Razorback athlete Tommy Boyer.

Obviously, we won’t get to sit in on their discussions during that executive session. However, in this climate of Razorback sports, one would be foolish to think they won’t at least talk about it.

Stay tuned.
