VAN BUREN - Van Buren police are looking for a man who may go by the name of “CJ” after another man was stabbed Friday afternoon at a house in the 300 block of North 20th Street.
Video reported to be of the alleged incident was furnished to Inside Fort Smith by a Van Buren resident, and shows the man, who police describe as white, about 5’7″ inches tall with a mustache and either a mole or a birthmark on his face, went to the front door of the residence. When the occupant of the home answered the door an argument and a fight broke out and the man stabbed the occupant several times
The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was taken to a local hospital where the as listed in stable condition.
Officials said the incident was still under investigation.
