A massage parlor and spa saw it’s third week of their grand opening result in a grand closing when Sequoyah County officials utilized an undercover operation to gather enough evidence for a search warrant and arrested the owner and at least one other employee on Wednesday
Qing Chang, with an address listed in Muskogee, and another employee of the business were detained as a result of the sting operation that could lead to illegal sexual activity and human trafficking charges.
“The Roland Police Department had received numerous verbal and written complaints pertaining to activities surrounding the business,” Sequoyah County Sheriff Larry Lane told the media. “We sent in an investigator and he gathered enough information to secure the building and request a search warrant.”
Chang only speaks Mandarin, so officials were working to locate a translator on Thursday.
Among the allegations are that Chang had been bringing in illegal minors, and forcing them into prostitution.
In addition to the parlor in Roland, at least four other massage parlors operate under the name “China Doll Massage and Spa’ in the state of Oklahoma-one in Edmond and three others in Oklahoma City. It is unclear of those businesses are related or connected in anyway.
In addition to complaints by citizens the “21 years old beautiful Chinese girls” may have tipped their hands by posting an advertisement for the business on the notorious “sex for hire” website “backpage.com.”
With an animated billboard on the Fort Smith portion of the website advertising the grand opening, the text of the ad (which was still up and flashing in the wee hours of Friday morning) reads:
“I’m Nancy, 28 years old. I’m from beijing,china. I will provide you the best massage experience, and help you relax your exhausted body.
I am waiting for you with my best service.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is also being brought in for the investigation, according to Lane.
