With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, I know everyone is looking for delicious recipes to feed their hungry guests with. Over the next few days, I’ll be posting recipes we are using in our home for the holidays.

Grant, being the good Southern man that he is, loves biscuits and rolls. I think he would eat them for his entire meal if he could. So it’s always important to do the bread portion of dinner right.

This year, we are making Garlic Cheesy Bombs. They are relatively quick, easy, and SUPER DELICIOUS.

If you are looking for a recipe to include the kids on, this is it. Our daughter Molly (my baking assistant in this instance) was a huge help on all of our steps.

Follow the instructions below, and stay tuned for more holiday recipes and tips.

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Lightly oil a 24 cup mini muffin tin or coat with a non stick spray
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the butter, garlic, oregano, basil and salt; set aside
  3. Halve each of the eight biscuits, making 16 pieces. Working one at a time, use a rolling pin to to flatten each piece to about 1/4 inch thickness. Add two pieces of cheese to the center of each biscuit piece before rolling into a ball
  4. Place the prepared muffin tin and brush each ball with half the butter mixture, then sprinkle with Parmesan. Place in the oven, and then bake until golden brown. This should take about 8-10 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately, brushed with the remaining butter mixture, and garnished with parsley if desired.

This has quickly become a favorite of the Merrill family, and we hope it will become a favorite for your family too!
