Stacy Leigh Boerner Forsgren went home to be with her Heavenly Father, Saturday, May 27, 2017, in Fort Smith surrounded by her loving family and friends after a courageous battle against cancer.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, cousin and friend to everyone who knew her. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, a sustaining member of the Junior League of Fort Smith, a 1994 graduate of Southside High School and a member of the Dixie Belles.
She graduated with a bachelors degree in business administration from Arkansas State University.
Professionally, she excelled as a realtor with Sagely & Edwards. Her true passion however, beyond all of her own personal accomplishments, was her family and friends, especially her husband and children.
She is survived by her loving husband Dallas; one daughter Brooklyn and two sons, Ben and Blake, all of the home; her parents Harold and Nancy Boerner of Fort Smith; a brother Craig, wife Courtney and their children Addison, Emery and Ivy of Nashville, Tennessee; brother-in-law Justin Forsgren, wife Lori and their children Madeline, Emily and Aubrey, and brother-in-law Steve Forsgren, wife Gala and children Abby, Hannah and Jake Forsgren, as well as a large, loving extended family.
Visitation with the family will be 6-7 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, at Christ the King Catholic Church with the Rosary Service to follow. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31 at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Church with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery immediately following. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Wes Borengasser, Joe Caldarera, Teddy Craft, Alex Baumeister, Clay Gordon, Brad Hindley, Josh Beshears and Nathan Garner.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to either Christ the King Catholic School, 2112 South Greenwood Avenue, Fort Smith, AR, 72901 or Trinity Junior High School, 1205 South Albert Pike Avenue, Fort Smith, AR, 72903.
