Those who enjoy reading grammatically correct content while surfing the internet may have gotten a kick out of recent signs that were supposedly spotted in the City of Little Rock during this week’s flooding.
Those who have spent more than a few minutes in Central Arkansas probably know all about the “Big Dam Bridge”, a pedestrian bridge that links Little Rock and North Little Rock going over the top of the Murray Lock and Dam. It has played host to some 5K races and bike rides.
It also apparently has played host to a badly misspelled sign that was allegedly placed outside of the bridge’s entrance to keep people away from the flooding. Most of us are familiar with the difference between “do and due”, “lose and loose”, etc. Some people just can’t seem to remember!
We’ll pray this was photoshopped, but most of us know that when it happens in Little Rock, anything is a possibility.
