FORT SMITH - The Sebastian County Sheriff’s Department has announced that they will hold tests next week for those wanting to become Detention Deputies. The testing will take place on Thursday December 6th.
“Testing will begin at 1:00 PM with a written exam followed by a physical agility/run test,” the Department said on social media. “Please wear comfortable attire and have a government form of ID with you. You must be 18 years of age to apply”.
Anyone interested in testing should arrive at the Sheriff’s Office at 800 South A Street in Fort Smith.
