An Alma woman that has been missing since August 4 from Roland is the subject of a “be on the lookout” alert issued by Arkansas law enforcement authorities who are reaching out to the public for any information in the disappearance.
Barbara ‘Barbie’ Stewart, 57, reported to have a heart condition and memory issues, has been missing since last seen in Roland on Monday.
Some of her personal items were later found in a dumpster at an Alma car wash, according to authorities.
A spokesperson with the Alma police department said at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday nothing had changed in the status of the missing woman.
Stewart is described as 5-foot-8 with blonde hair and blue eyes.
At least two media sources had listed the incorrect telephone number for the Alma Police Department and anyone with information is asked to contact the Alma PD at the correct number which is 479-632-3333.
