Roe pleads guilty to multiple charges Monday in Crawford County

Michael Ray Roe, 61, of Mulberry, pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual assault in the 2nd degree, 10 counts of sexual assault in the 4th degree and terroristic threatening Monday in Crawford County Circuit Court.

Roe was sentenced to 30 years in prison with an additional 20 years suspended. While in prison he must enroll and complete the sexual offender program.

Roe was convicted for engaging in sexual contact and activity with minor males under his supervision. This conviction is based on crimes committed in November of 2015 for which Roe was arrested in May of 2016. He had been out of jail on bond awaiting his court date on Monday.

Roe has an extensive criminal record stretching back to a November 2001 conviction for the distribution of sexual materials depicting a minor child.

Roe was also served a warrant by Franklin County officials in April of 2016 for employing or consenting to the use of a child in a sexual performance and sexual solicitation of a child, both felonies.

Roe was also charged with rape and sexual indecency with a child and transporting a minor for prohibited conduct in Franklin County in July of 2016.
