FORT SMITH - The Fort Smith Police Department is looking for a suspect believed to be responsible for a smash-and-grab breaking and entering case. The incident occurred in the parking lot of Academy Sports and Outdoors at 5001 Phoenix Avenue on May 20. The suspect attempted to use stolen cards from the incident approximately one hour later at the Walmart on Zero Street.

“He’s a white male, seen here wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. He also appears to have a tattoo on his right wrist. He was last seen getting into a white Chevy SUV.” the Department said.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Fort Smith Crimestoppers at 78-CRIME if you have any information that can lead to his identification, and you could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
