Five more individuals found their way into police custody on Saturday for felony offenses that landed them in the Sebastian County Adult Detention center.

Tommy Cagle

Clarksville resident Tommy Cagle found himself booked into the Sebastian County jail on Saturday for being a felon in possession of a firearm and misdemeanor carrying a weapon charges and posted a $6,000 legally sufficient bond.

Cagle was arrested by the Fort Smith Police Department at 10:28 p.m. on Saturday night. No court date had been set as of 7 a.m. Sunday.

Leslie Gene Lowe

Felony theft by receiving charges led to the arrest of Leslie Gene Lowe of Fort Smith by the Fort Smith Police Department on Saturday.

Lowe, who has a Fort Smith address, was arrested for a Class D felony theft by receiving ($1,000 to $5,000) and remains in jail on a $3,500 legally sufficient bond.

Stevie Lee Cook

Stevie Lee Cook of Fort Smith was jailed on Saturday when she was booked into the Sebastian County Adult Detention Center on a state felony for failure to appear, and misdemeanor failure to pay fine and petition to revoke.

Cook, who has been arrested 13 times in Sebastian County since August 2012, faces a total bond amount of $10,465 in cash, legally sufficient and signature bonds.

After a recent arrest by the Barling Police Department, she was held in the Detention Center for 65 days on various charges including felony possession of drug paraphernalia and furnishing prohibited article counts.

Court has been set for May 11 for Cook.

Jamal Clifton Gibson

Jamal Clifton, 26, of Fort Smith faced $8,000 total in signature and legally sufficient bonds after he was taken in by the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office for felony petition to revoke and failure to appear charges.

Clifton also has past convictions for promoting prostitution and possession of controlled substances out of Pulaski County, residential burglary, hindering apprehension or prosecution and manufacturing for delivery of controlled substances out of Sebastian County and issues with the Office of Child Support Enforcement in his past.

Although his entry into the SCADC system shows no bond met, it also shows he is no longer in custody and may have been transferred to the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

Jason Adam Rone

Jason Rone of Fort Smith was booked into the SCADC on Saturday for a felony petition to revoke and was released Saturday night being held on a $420 cash bond.

Rone has a healthy list of convictions in Arkansas dating back to September of 2001 with six arrests in Hot Spring County in that year alone.

He seems to have cleaned up his act somewhat until 2009 when he was convicted of felony theft of property in Crawford County, following that up with felony drug convictions and another theft of property bust before August of 2010.
