FORT SMITH - The Fort Smith Police Department and other area law enforcement agencies are celebrating the graduation of fourteen Police Officers from the Police Academy. The
promotion ceremony will be held at the Fort Smith Police Department Training Center,
8400 Zero Street, at 10:00 am on Friday, November 17, 2017.
The following fourteen Officers have completed 560 hours of training which included but
was not limited to Firearms, Physical Training, Defensive Tactics, Academics and
Emergency Vehicle Operations. Awards for the top performers in the categories of
Academics, Firearms and Physical Training will be presented during the Ceremony by
Chief Nathaniel Clark of the Fort Smith Police Department.
