Phillip White
Phillip Artie White, 64, of Fort Smith passed away Feb. 27, 2019. He was born Nov. 13, 1954, in Kennett, Mo. He was a retired financial advisor from MetLife and was currently employed by MassMutual. Nothing superseded his love for golf, with the exception of his family; he was beloved “Gramps” to his seven grandchildren. He graduated in 1973 from Catholic High in Little Rock, where he played football, and then attended Emory and Henry College in Virginia. After college, he relocated to West Virginia and met his beloved wife, Jacqueline. They eventually moved to Arkansas, where they raised their family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Wanda (Walls) White.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jacqueline White; one son, Phillip Brandon White and wife Kenzie of Van Buren; two daughters, Terra Harmon and husband Drew of Fort Smith and Christy Fuller of San Antonio; one brother, Christopher White and wife Shawn of Southlake, Texas; two sisters, Debbie Bosnick and husband Eddie and Tammy Studdard and husband Rick of Whitehall; and seven grandchildren, Evie, Lucy, Mary Harmon, Lilah, Jenner Little and Quinn and Scarlet White.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith.
