FORT SMITH - One person is dead following a shooting overnight at the River Valley Inn and Suites on South Towson Avenue. The victim, said by police to be in his mid-30’s has not been identified pending the notification of next of kin.
The Fort Smith Police Department tells members of the media that the suspect drove away from the scene, however investigators have not yet released a description of the vehicle the person is said to be driving.
