FORT SMITH - Sallisaw based Firstar Bank says they’ll build a new headquarters at Chaffee Crossing. The new expansion is expected to bring 20 new jobs to Fort Smith once the $3,500,000 project is complete.
“This significant investment represents our commitment to being a banking leader in Fort Smith,” Firstar President Lance Smith said in a release “Our new facility will consist of banking professionals who cater to their clients and provide customized service for their unique needs.”
Firstar Bank currently has branches or office locations in Fort Smith, Roland, Sallisaw, Muskogee and Tulsa. The current incarnation made up of a number of local stockholders took the place of the First National Bank of Sallisaw in the late-1990’s.
The new location will be at 6200 Massard Road.
