FORT SMITH – The City of Fort Smith issued building permits to two corporations last week, as both entities prepare to start construction and upgrades on their properties.
Jenny Craig was authorized to build a brand new building at 3400 South 70th Street. The new building will house the weight loss provider’s operations, and also have a space available for lease. The estimated cost of the project is $500,000. KC Colley Construction Company will handle the building efforts.
Fort Smith’s OK Foods was given the green light on a new addition to their facility at 700 South B Street. The company will add an electrical room and then make significant electrical upgrades, at a cost of $773,000. The contractor on the project is Crawford Construction Company.
Both permits were issued between November 6th and November 9th.
