Neal McCoy brings his chart-topping lyrics to Cherokee Casino and Hotel Roland on Friday, June 30.

The free admission show at Lee Creek Tavern begins at 9 p.m.

In 1993, the Jacksonville, Texas, musician broke into the music scene with back-to-back No. 1 singles “No Doubt About It” and “Wink” from his RIAA platinum-certified album “No Doubt About It.”

McCoy’s commercial success continued with another RIAA platinum-selling album, “You Gotta Love That,” in 1995, which peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard Top Country Albums charts.

The album included “For a Change,” ‘They’re Playin’ Our Song” and the album title “You Gotta Love That,” all of which reached No. 3 on the US Country charts.

In 1997, McCoy released his “Greatest Hits” album. “The Shake” was the only new single on the album and peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Country Charts.

After a brief break from music, McCoy returned in early 2003 with “The Luckiest Man in the World,” following it with “That’s Life” in 2005, which features “Billy’s Got His Beer Goggles On.”
