Logan County Sheriff Boyd Hicks reported on Facebook on Tuesday that a Logan County couple is facing felony drug and weapons charges after a helicopter team spotted marijuana growing in their back yard during a recent marijuana eradication operation.

On Tuesday, Hicks refused to identify the couple pending the issuance of warrants in the case. Hicks says he never releases names of suspects to the press until they have been formerly charged.

A search of the couples home resulted in the seizure of three marijuana plants, about 82 grams of harvested marijuana, various drug paraphernalia and multiple weapons and ammo.

The couple is facing charges of manufacturing and possessing a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of firearms by certain persons, unlawful use of a communication device, maintaining a drug premise, endangering the welfare of a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of a probated sentence.
