LeFlore County sheriff issues release on assistance in fire

Rob Seale, LeFlore County Sheriff, released the following statement:

The LeFlore County Sheriff’s Office, State Fire Marshal’s Office and an independent fire investigator have been on the scene of the Cameron High School Fire the past two days.

The fire originated in a storage room inside the High School Office. There has been no evidence discovered of any criminal activity which contributed to the fire.

The exact cause of the fire is still undetermined at this time. The scene has been released to the Cameron School District to begin cleanup and recovery.

I ask that you continue to remember this tragic situation in your prayers and support Cameron Schools as they endeavor to get classes started and provide quality education for our area students.
