LITTLE ROCK - Governor Asa Hutchinson honored two Van Buren elementary schools this week for their work in the area of nutrition.
King and Tate Elementary schools were recognized this week for being selected as the Best Nutrition Education Garden and Best Community Involvement Garden.
“VBSD is proud to provide hands-on nutrition and garden lessons for our students!” the District said via social media.
The recognition was given by the Arkansas Agriculture Department and agri-lender Farm Credit.
