The Arkansas highway death toll now stands at 182 for the year as six statewide accidents this past week claimed six more victims.
Counting accidents reported through May 20, the count is one short of the 183 recorded in the same time period a year ago.
Savannah Carol Knight, 30, of Beebe, was killed Monday morning around 10:21 a.m. when a Dodge Ram truck in which she was a passenger, left Hwy. 319 in Ward.
The vehicle was driven by 33-year-old Christopher Kennamer, of Cabot, according to the State Police’s preliminary fatal crash summary.
The vehicle was traveling northbound on Hwy. 319 and the driver lost control and the vehicle left the road and both occupants were ejected from the vehicle.
Conditions were clear and dry at the time of the accident.
A Benton County man died on Tuesday after an accident on State Highway 12 East that involved a motorcycle and tractor.
The driver of the 2008 Honda, 38-year-old Shawn Leverich of Bentonville, was killed after he lost control of his motorcycle during a sharp right turn on State Highway 12 East.
Leverich struck the front of the tractor that was mowing east on the roadside of Pleasant Ridge Road.
A Prescott woman was killed Thursday morning in a one-vehicle accident at the Bodcaw community in southern Nevada County.
According to a preliminary State Police report, Jennifer Parnell, 41, was driving a 2004 model Mazda south on Arkansas 53 about 7:26 a.m. The vehicle traveled off the highway and collided with a tree.
Parnell died at the scene.
Sixty-seven year-old Floyd D. Guthrie of Gentry was killed on Thursday when the 2015 Chevrolet truck he was driving southbound on Highway 59 near Chesney Road in Benton County left the roadway, went into a ditch and crossed several driveways before coming to rest.
An Alexander woman died after after she was struck while attempting to walk across the westbound lanes of Interstate 30 near the 126 mile marker on Friday.
According to a State Police report, Kimberly Warren, 55, of Alexander, was struck by two vehicles around 11:45 p.m. Friday.
The accident is under investigation and the body is being held at the Pulaski County Coroner.
Nineteen year-old Mario Rebollar of Danville was killed Saturday in a head-on collision on Highway 27 southwest of Dardanelle.
Rebollar died when the 2013 Lincoln Navigator he was driving crossed the center line of the highway about 12:30 a.m. Saturday and collided with an oncoming vehicle.
