People all over Arkansas and Oklahoma are having problems with their phones, and beyond that across the nation. Multiple social media reports indicate that AT&T customers across the country are having problems making and receiving calls, especially those who are using iPhones.

As of 7:00 PM on Wednesday night, DownDetector.Com had received over 6,800 reports of service issues from AT&T customers. The outages are centered in the Dallas area, with a smaller number of reports coming from the Tulsa and Little Rock areas.

A number of users having problems were also concentrated in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, and in Florida.

Some users reported that putting their phone in airplane mode and resetting their system allowed them to resume making calls. The website MacRumors.Com advised those who still couldn’t make a phone call to use FaceTime via wifi, or Facetime messenger audio.
